The police on Monday withdrew the security details attached to Senator Dino Melaye.
This was just as the senator raised the alarm that his brother, Moses, and friend were arrested in front of his Abuja home, where there has been a stand-off in the bid to arrest him.
In a tweet on hisTwitter handle, Melaye said: “My brother Moses and his friend have just been arrested by the police in front of my house.”

In another tweet, he said: “All my policemen have been taken away with their arms. One CP came and took them away. There is also a plan to set me up again. But in God I trust. Truth will always prevail.”
