Uber driver drops passengers off at airport, returns moments later to try and rob their home
According to reports gathered by Fox Carolina, the incident played out after the driver identified as Jackie-Gordon Wilson, picked up the passengers from their home in San Mateo and drove them off to the San Francisco airport.
After dropping them off, he then returned to their home and tried to burglarize it. An officer of the San Mateo police was reported to have made the revelation saying: “He then came back to that exact house and tried to burglarize it”
The reports further disclosed that Wilson had fled the home after he was startled by an alarm system. He, however, broke into another home just a few blocks away in the same neighborhood.

Speaking about the robbery incidence and how they met their home in shambles, one of the homeowners who only wanted to be identified as Scott and Chana reportedly said: “He tore apart the whole house, tossed everything, every piece of furniture moved. He opened my safe.”
The couple further disclosed that Wilson who had no idea that he was being recorded by a surveillance camera, spent four hours ransacking their home.
“There are heirlooms that belong to my grandmother, that go back all the way to the Holocaust. For him that was just something to pawn off. To me that was the memory of my grandmother,” explained the wife, Chana.
According to another report by San Francisco Chronicle, sharing the security footage online helped the couple in identifying Wilson as the Uber driver that came to pick up others in the neighborhood, at the airport.
It was further gathered that policemen in the area now have Wilson in custody after successfully tracking him down with Uber mobile app. (Legit.ng)
