US President Donald Trump has adduced reasons for not getting his wife a gift as she marks her 48th birthday on Thursday.
The President confessed that he was rather too busy to go get a birthday gift for the First Lady.
The day before, though, Mr. President had, in a tweet, commended his wife’s flawless hosting of visiting French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Briggite.

However, during a telephone interview on Fox & Friends, Trump confessed that he didn’t have a gift for his wife.
He said, “Well, I better not get into that ’cause I may get in trouble. Maybe I didn’t get her so much.”
