Gov. Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state, has suspended all appointments, made on or before 28 March 2019, by the immediate past APC administration, on ground of public interest.
Fintiri in a maiden broadcast to the people of the state, also suspended all the last minutes recruitments, through mere waiver without observing the layer down procedure by Bindow’s government.
“All appointments made into the state judicial service Commission, Planning Commission and Boards of the State Health insurance scheme, charman and member of the Jimeta unltra modern markets are hreby suspended.
“All political, office holders in the previous government of the state, are hereby relived of their appointment with effect.
“The General managers, State Water Board, Urban Planning Development Authority, Transport Company and Executive Secretary Post Primary School Management Board, be suspended from office, pending the receipt of inquiries into their various organization.
“All the chairmen and members of boards, parastatals and commission in the state are hereby dissolved.
“The outgoing chairmen and members, should hand over their organizations and public property in their possession, to the most senior civil servant in their establishment.
The Governor further directed that, officials must sit up to ensure accountability and transparency in handling public affairs.
He also assured that, women and youths would be given desired attention by his administration. (Leadership NG)
