Galatasaray President sparks Messi transfer speculation

Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek has stirred excitement in football circles by entertaining the possibility of signing Lionel Messi.

Speaking at the Boğaziçi University Sports Summit on Saturday, Özbek credited the club’s recent successes and financial discipline for making such “dream” questions possible.

When asked directly about Messi joining Galatasaray, he responded, “Messi, you say? Galatasaray have reached a point where even such questions are possible. We’ve raised the bar very high.”

His remarks have fueled widespread speculation among fans and media about whether the Turkish club could seriously pursue the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner.
