Regina Daniel’s Brother, Sammy Granted Bail from Prison
Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy, has been released from prison after being granted bail.
The bail, set at N5 million, was approved on Monday, November 10, 2025, following several days in detention.
Sammy was earlier remanded at the Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court before being transferred to Suleja Prison.
His detention had drawn widespread attention on social media, with many fans of the actress calling for his release.
Announcing the development, his elder brother, @Sweezzy1, shared on Instagram: “Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.” The post quickly went viral, drawing messages of relief and support from friends and followers.
POLITICS NIGERIA gathered that Sammy’s arrest was reportedly linked to a lingering dispute involving Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ husband.
He was picked up in Lagos last week over allegations connected to the senator’s ongoing marital controversy with the actress.
Recall that Sammy’s detention had earlier sparked mixed reactions online, with some social media users accusing the senator of using his influence to intimidate the young man.
