Days after a video of him went viral, help comes for young Nigerian drug addict in the US

Help has finally come for a young Nigerian drug addict after a video of him sharing his story went viral a few days ago.

28 year old Olaniyi pictured above was accosted by a concerned Nigerian man inNew Jersey who saw him, interrogated him and shared a video of him online.

In the video, Olaniyi who exhibited all the traits of a drug addict,  said his mother is late and his father works somewhere in New Jersey. Holding a cigarette in his hand, Olaniyi narrated how he went to good schools inLagos and afterwards proceeded to the US to pursue a University degree but ended up getting addicted to drugs. Olaniyi said he fellout with his parents after he told them he was God and has powers to control the world. He mentioned he is from Iree, in Osun state.

Indigenes from Iree community residing in the US under the auspices of the Iree Progressives Association, saw the video and immediately set in motion possible ways of rehabilitating him. Olaniyi who is picturedabove with the President of Iree Progressives Association has been picked up and is currently in a hospital where he will be rehabilitated.
