PHOTOS: Protesters demand Sowore’s release in Abuja

Some protesters stormed the Department of State Services headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday to demand the release of the convener of the RevolutionNow protest, Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare.

The protest was convened by Deji Adeyanju of the Concerned Nigerians group.

It would be recalled that the group had protested at the DSS headquarters on Saturday for the first time, demanding the release of Sowore and Bakare.

The protest was broken up by masked operatives of the DSS, who fired gunshots and used pepper spray to disperse the protesters.
