Emir Bayero, Ganduje, others observe Jumat in Kano
The newly appointed Emir of Kano, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero in company of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje observed the Friday congressional prayer at the Kano Central Mosque.
The Chief Imam of Kano, Prof. Mohammed Sani Zahradeen, led the Jumaat prayer by 2:00 pm.
In his sermon, he urged the Muslims Ummah to have the fear in all their dealings as well as to live peacefully with one another.
He also called on the residents to exhibits loyalty to constituted authorities for the progress and developement of the state.
The Nation reports that the mosque witnessed an unprecedented worshippers, including top government functionaries and businessmen.
There were praises and prayers for the new Emir.
Worshippers prayed for his long life, good health and wisdom for the success of his reign as the 15th emir of Kano.
The state government on Wednesday presented appointment letter to the new emir and his brother, the emir of Bichi, Alhaji Nasiru Ado Bayero.
