A member representing Eti-Osa constituency 02 in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Gbolahan Yishawu today, 5th April, 2020 felicitates with Christians on the celebration of Palm Sunday.
Yishawu, in a statement made available by his information office sent his greetings to Christians and urged them to support government effort in this time of COVID-19.
His words: “In the time like this that people have to stay in the house to pray because of the unseen virus killing people, I want to appeal to us not to be weary in praying to God for His quick intervention”.
However, the lawmaker said government is working round the clock to curtail the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria and Lagos in particular.
The Committee Chairman on Budget and Economic Planning emphasised the need for people to keep socia distance alive and stay at home as directed by the government.
Yishawu wishes Nigerians and his constituents happy celebration and pray for quick recovery from coronavirus.
“May the spirit of this holy occasion and the warmth of the season make your heart bloom with joy and happiness”, he said.
