Lagos Governor Appoints New Permanent Secretaries [FULL LIST]

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has approved the appointment of new Permanent Secretaries as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s civil service and enhance policy implementation.
The announcement, contained in a circular dated September 23, 2025, and signed by the Head of Service, Bode Agoro (Ref: CIR/HOS/’25/Vol.I/069), was addressed to key government functionaries including the Deputy Governor, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, the Chief Judge, Commissioners, and Local Government Chairpersons.
Agoro said the decision was aimed at “reinvigorating the state’s policy implementation apparatus” and improving service delivery across ministries, departments, and agencies.
The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are:

Dr Olufemi Motunolani Omololu – Chief Medical Officer, Health Service Commission (Island Maternity)

Mr Muhammed Tijani Babatunde Onigbanjo – Director, Admin. & HR, Office of the Chief of Staff

Mr Olutokunbo Olayode Oyenuga – Director, Civil Engineering, Office of Infrastructure

Mr Rafiu Olawale Ojikutu – Director, Admin. & HR, Motor Vehicle Administration Agency

Mr Olufemi Bamidele Paseda – Principal/Director, Education District III

Mrs Oluwakemi Amudat Adedeji – Director, Admin. & HR, Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget

Dr Adesola Ayodele Pitan – Chief Medical Officer, Health Service Commission
The Head of Service urged ministries, departments, and agencies to extend full cooperation to the appointees to enable them discharge their duties effectively.
