ABAT takes Tinubu’s presidential campaign to grassroots
The Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (ABAT) Movement in Eti-Osa Local Government Area has taken campaign for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential aspiration to the grassroots.
The group visited the council chairman, Saheed Adesegun.
Its coordinator Dr Mushafau Akinsanya said the visit was to receive his blessings before it begins work of mobilising for Asiwaju Tinubu.
He said: “We are here to receive your blessings because this group exists because of your benevolence. We have been given this opportunity to serve and we value it.
“So we are here to intimate you of our aim to promote and support Tinubu to become president in 2023. We are happy because our principal is unique when it comes to service to humanity, he had developed and trained many people, he has worked so hard to develop the state, and so he deserves our support to becoming president since he has declared his intention.”
Akinsanya hailed the Apex Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the area Prince Murphy Adetoro for his guidance.
Women leader of the movement, Theresa Okonkwo expressed joy in meeting the chairman and his support towards the goal of the movement.
Adesegun, in his response, said: “This kind of assignment needs total cooperation, oneness and believing in each other; we need to bring ideas on board and understand each other. Our assignment is for our principal to win and so nothing should stop us when it’s comes to supporting him.”
