AC Milan reach €27 million deal with Chelsea over Fikayo Tomori

AC Milan have reached an agreement with Chelsea that will see Fikayo Tomori sign on a permanent basis, according to a report.

The latest from Calciomercato.com confirms that on Monday the Rossoneri management have struck a deal with Chelsea over the signing of the defender, who will therefore remain in Stefano Pioli’s squad for next season and a return to the Champions League.

The official announcement is expected by the end of the week, on Thursday or Friday, and after Mike Maignan he will be the second summer signing. It is another important operation from Maldini and Massara, ensuring the permanence of the English centre-back who was among the protagonists of finishing second place.

Tomori will sign a five-year contract with AC Milan, who failed to obtain a discount from Chelsea, meaning the Rossoneri will pay €27m to the Blues for the final purchase, which of course are added to the €1m already paid for the six-month loan.
