He was said to have denied possession of drugs, but after the officials searched him, they found the drugs in his pocket.
The report read, “The Telangana Anti Narcotics Bureau officials caught a key drug supplier, Ezeonyili Franklin Uchenna alias Kaleshi, who had been evading police for over a year.
“According to police officials, the Nigerian national was apprehended at Ibrahimbagh, following a tip-off that he had arrived from Bengaluru. Police recovered 17 grams of MDMA from his possession.
“Initially, Kaleshi denied carrying any drugs, but a search revealed the contraband hidden in his pocket. He was caught while waiting to deliver the drug to a contact.”
The report noted that a pen drive was also recovered from the suspect, which contained the names of 411 Africans and receipts of drug transactions worth Rs 9.50 crore.
“During interrogation, the police recovered a pen drive from the accused, which contained significant evidence, including photographs, names of 411 Africans, receipts, and other documents on drug trade operations.
