With the dust barely settling following their 4-0 thumping of their Libyan counterparts in an AFCON U-23 qualifiers, the Naira rain has already started as Super Eagles and Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia forward, Ahmed Musa has redeemed his pledge to the team.

The stand-in skipper of the Super Eagles had promised the team the sum of 1 million Naira for each goal scored. And true to his word, he has redeemed his pledge as soon as the Dream Team VII defeated Libya by 4-0 at the Stephen Keshi stadium in Asaba on Monday.

Super Eagles hopeful, Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick and provided an assist as the Imama Amapakabo led tutored side won convincingly to progress to the next round of qualifiers in June. Media Officer of the Senior national team, Toyin Ibitoye confirmed that Ahmed Musa has redeemed his pledge and made the players happy.
