A faction of the APC in Imo state has suspended Governor Anayo Rochas Okorocha over alleged “gross anti-party activities.”

The chairman of the Imo State Caretaker Committee of the APC, Prince Marcellinus Nlemigbo, said Okorocha was sponsoring his son-in-law, Uche Nwosu as governorship candidate of the Action Alliance (AA) in clear violation of the APC constitution.
He added that Okorocha was also found guilty of “Open denunciation of APC and its governorship candidate in the state, Senator Hope Uzodinma.”
