APC: How Hon. Faleke, Lagos4Lagos Leader Organised Parallel Congress

As the governing political party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, continues to reach out to aggrieved stakeholders in order to have a united house preparatory to future elections, some appear hell-bent on working against the party with all manner of divisive tendencies.

It was believed in some quarters that opting to adopt to conduct the Ward Congresses through consensus will help the reconciliatory moves by the party to bring all interests onboard and forge ahead on common fronts. But two days after the Ward Congress, news from across the length and breadth of the State Chapters indicate that many were not placated by the peace overtures.

In Lagos State, the exercise went well largely except for some places where some stakeholders chose to work against the peace and progress of the party by going ahead to conduct parallel Congresses.

Before now, many had described the leader of attention seeking mushroom group, Lagos4Lagos, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, as an agent positioned by some perceived enemies of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to cause confusion and create cracks in the governing party, the APC, as he had before now not identified with any political family.

It was rather shocking that anyone, who identifies with the leadership of the colossus, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will join forces with the initiator of the Lagos4Lagos and Team Jandor against the ideas of the National Leader.

Events of last Saturday’s Ward Congresses in Lagos State were pointers that some had only been claiming to be part of Asiwaju Tinubu’s footsoldiers while the contrary is true. One of such individuals is Hon. James Abiodun Faleke.

It will be recalled that after the Local Government Primary elections of the All Progressives Congress recently, the Lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency sponsored protests against the party’s leadership and called the National Leader unprintable names even when it was obvious that he sponsored an aspirant, who had fake documents.

While many held the opinion that the reconciliation so achieved before the Local Government Elections would help the bonding process in Ojodu LCDA particularly, the actions of Hon. Faleke especially in joining forces with the Lagos4Lagos group suggest that he has sinister plans and had no remorse for the recent protests he sponsored

against his benefactor. Recall a few weeks ago, he sponsored a team of members to protest against a Party which he has been a major beneficiary of in the last 20yrs from holding Party elective positions as Chairman of Ojodu LCDA for 9yrs and House of Reps member for 10yrs. He at that protest insisted our national leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu should forget his 2023 ambition if he fails to endorse his imposter candidate for Council chairman. Is Faleke working to make good his threat against his leader and benefactor???

Not surprising, it’s in his dna to reward such kindness with treachery and vindictiveness.

We will wait and see how far his new political alignments will take him.
