–commends him for using AFCON to foster unity among Nigerians
United APC Youths, an affiliate group of the All Progressives Congress, has commended CEO of Loatsad Promomedia, Seyi Tinubu, for creating a memorable experience for Super Eagles fans across Nigeria during the recently concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2023).
In a statement on Wednesday, the Director-General of the youth group, Joseph Odey said the group was delighted to learn that Seyi Tinubu during the just concluded AFCON 2023 quietly sponsored many free viewing for Nigerians in multiple states in the country.
The group said that sports, especially football, is the number one uniting factor in Nigeria and commended Seyi Tinubu for using the AFCON opportunity to promote national unity.
“We feel it’s necessary to appreciate Seyi Tinubu and other benevolent individuals who contributed to providing Nigerians with a remarkable AFCON experience by sponsoring free public match viewing centres, especially during Nigeria’s matches. It demonstrates Seyi Tinubu’s commitment to fostering national cohesion and unity.
“We appeal to Nigerians, especially the youths, to maintain the spirit of national solidarity witnessed during the last AFCON. Despite narrowly missing the AFCON trophy, the moments of national pride experienced during other matches should be a foundation for building a more united nation,” the statement concluded.
