Arsenal have submitted a late bid to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan, BBC reports.
Perisic was wanted by Jose Mourinho last summer, but the move broke down after the Old Trafford side refused to pay the Serie A club’s £45million valuation.
Arsenal are restricted to making loan signings this month on account of their spiralling wage bill.
But the Gunners are prepared to take Perisic until the end of the season and include a clause with the option to buy the player outright for £35m in the summer.
Perisic has endured an underwhelming season, scoring just four goals in 25 appearances and is said to be open to a move.
