Arsenal is prepared to rival Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to land Lyon attacker Moussa Dembele this summer.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is desperate to sign the French attacker and he prepared to rival Chelsea for their main target as they plan for life after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has just 12 months remaining on his current deal and Alexandre Lacazette is a target for Inter Milan.

Arsenal has enquired about the striker in the past and it claimed that Arsenal has maintained an interest in him since 2015 and was reportedly ready to rival Spurs six months before his Parkhead switch.

The Gunners were strongly linked in the summer of 2017 and now appear keen with the potential of reuniting Dembele with his former Celtic team-mate Kieran Tierney.

Chelsea will have Arsenal and Manchester United to beat to the signing of the former Fulham star.

Celtic will benefit from the deal as they have a 10 per cent sell-on clause in Dembele’s deal. (AFP)
