Bandits launch attack on Kaduna community, kidnap 8 farmers, 4 others
Some bandits have reportedly launched an attack on Kuruta village, close to Kasangwai community in Kagarko Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The bandits were said to have kidnapped eight farmers and four other people from the community.
The leader of the community while confirming the incident said the bandits invaded the village at about 5pm last Thursday.
According to the community leader, the farmers were out on their farms working when they were abducted.
Noting that the bandits arrived at the village with sophisticated weapons, the community leader and four other people were kidnapped.
He also noted that since the victims’ abduction, the bandits are yet to contact any members of their families for payment of ransom.
