BREAKING: Eight COVID-19 patients discharged in Lagos
The Lagos state government has discharged eight COVID-19 patients who received treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of the state, who broke the news on Tuesday afternoon, said the patients – two females and six males – have fully recovered.
This brings to 69, the number of COVID-19 patients who have been discharged in the state.
“More great news today from our Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba. 8 more people; 2 females and 6 males have tested negative and fully recovered from #COVID19. They have been discharged to return to their families,” he tweeted.
“This brings the number of patients successfully managed and discharged from our facilities to 69. Please, let us continue to adhere to all the safety advice from our health experts.”
