Hoodlums suspected to be bandits struck today (Friday) at the Government Girls Secondary School, Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State, kidnapping 300 schoolgirls.
EyewitnessMedia gathered that the innocent schoolgirls were rounded up and kidnapped within the school premises in Jangebe, in Talatu Mafara LGA, happened around 2 a.m today (Friday).
Although men of the Vigilante group in the area exchanged gunfire with the criminals, it was not enough to avert the terror.
Although details are still sketchy, sources told BBC Hausa on Friday morning that over 300 schoolgirls were abducted in the latest mass school abduction in Zamfara.
This is the fourth of such massive kidnap by terrorists in Northwest Nigeria, starting from the abduction of over 300 students from a government college in Kankara, Katsina state.
