The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected a growth of 2.5 percent for Nigeria in 2021 from its earlier projection of 1.5 percent announced in January.
The Washington-based institution disclosed this on Tuesday during its 2021 Virtual Spring Meetings.

It also forecast a growth of 3.4 percent for the Sub-Saharan Africa region in 2021.
The new growth projection is 1.0 per cent higher than the multilateral institution’s 2021 forecast in January.
