BREAKING: Lagos Assembly Announces New Principal Officers, as two lawmakers absence

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Lagos State House of Assembly has unveiled its new principal officers during a plenary session held on Friday.

The announcement was made by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mojisola Meranda, during her first official sitting.

The newly appointed principal officers are:

Hon. Temitope Adewale – Majority Leader

Hon. Sani Okanlawon – Deputy Whip

Hon. David Setonji – Chief Whip

Hon. Richard Kasumu – Deputy Majority Leader

However, two lawmakers were absent from the plenary: Hon. Adams Noheem, representing Eti-Osa Constituency 1, and Hon. Nureni Akinsanya, representing Mushin Constituency 1.

This announcement marks the beginning of a new leadership chapter in the Lagos Assembly.
