Buhari and Tinubu in crucial meeting in London
President Muhammadu Buhari and APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu are in London now at the same time. They are both on scheduled visits to London, and it is no mere coincidence that they are there together.
Meanwhile, speaking on Buhari’s private visit to London, Femi Adesina featuring on ‘Politics Today’, a programme by Channels Television, said that people have the right to believe Buhari’s UK trip is for medicals.
In his words: “Those who want to interpret everything, those who want to believe all things should just believe that it is a private trip. When a man goes on a private trip, he has the right to use his time the way he deems because he has the right to private time. “So those who want to believe it’s a medical trip, they have the right to believe, if it pleases them and makes them happier”.
e-NIGERIA! learned that both Buhari and Tinubu are in London for a crucial meeting bordering on national issues.
One thing is certain, Buhari loves London, and according to reports he is there now on private visit.
Tinubu loves London too and also according to reports he went there with some APC chieftains for a meeting or business yet undisclosed.
Multiple Presidency sources are confirming e-NIGERIA! that as far as President Buhari and the APC caucus are concerned, Atiku is still remains a threat. They want to use the serenity and ambience of the London environment to calmly make strategies as the issues on the agenda are urgent and crucial.
First on the agenda, inside sources revealed to e-NIGERIA! is to consider who will make the list on ministerial posts. Already they have the list, however there are indications that there may be a last-minute fine tuning.
And of course, Tinubu knows how to get what he wants for his ‘boys’.
Second on the agenda is Atiku/Election Petitions Tribunal, which has become a headache, sort of.
Atiku’s nutty threat is causing absolute unease for them, and they want to quickly end the case and have the necessary peace to plan for the next four years.
Insecurity is also likely to be on the agenda, squealed another Presidency source.
Nigerians also still pointed to insecurity as a must on the agenda.
And someone said: “Wherever Buhari, and Tinubu are, the problems of Nigeria are always their subject matters. Though distressing to them as leaders, they are so enjoying their leadership that they do not want anybody to pull the carpet from under their feet.
