The home cleaning in preparation for the second term of president mohamadu  Buhari seems to have started in earnest with the reported sacking of the chief security officer, Bashir Abubaka

A source revealed that he’s to give way to a new face from the department of state security, Mr Idris.

Though reasons for the sack of the controversial officer who once single handedly expelled the state house correspondent of the punch newspapers from the seat of power are still sketchy, First weekly magazine investigations revealed that he is suspected to be a key  loyalist of  the  former DG lawal Daura.

A source said,’most of the  leakages in the villa  comes from him’

The source described  Bashir Abubakar  as a very very arrogant person who has a deep understanding of his boss and decided to exploit his weaknesses to his advantages

Bashir was appointed in July 2015 by the president to replace Abdul Mana who was sacked over his alleged involvement in shady deals  and also undermining the president.
