Coronavirus cases hit seven million worldwide
The total number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases worldwide surpassed seven million.
According to figures compiled by Johns Hopkins University, the global cases are currently at 7,199,546 with fatalities at 408,737. While the number of recoveries topped 3,536,686.
The US remains the worst-hit country in the World with over 2 million infections, while its death toll exceeds 113,000.
Brazil has the second-highest number of cases worldwide with more than 710,700, followed by Russia with around 476,000 and Spain with over 287,600 cases.
