The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) yesterday set up three reconciliation committees to reconcile aggrieve chieftains, following the local government primaries.

Each reconciliation committee will pacify aggrieved members in each of the three senatorial districts.

The Lagos West Panels are chaired by former Deputy Governor Abiodun Ogunleye and Senator Tony Adefuye. Those of Lagos East and Central committees are chaired by Prince Tajudeen Olusi and Chief Rabiu Oluwa.

A statement by the party chairman, Alhaji Tunde Balogun and Publicity Secretary Seye Oladejo said: “To engender cohesion, peace and unity in our party, the Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has constituted peace and reconciliation committees to meet with party leaders, aspirants, members and other relevant stakeholders in the state over issues emanating from the last local government primary elections.”

Members of the first panel for West are Kaoli Olusanya, Sunny Adeeko, Segun Agbaje, Wale Raji, Tunde Isiak and Bayo Erikitola.

The members of the second panel are Kolade Alabi, Jimi Benson, Tayo Orekoya, Wole Diya, Wale Mogaji and Adebola Shabi.

Members of the committee in Lagos West are Wale Oshun, Hakeem Bamgbola, Wahab Alawiye-King, Hakeem Masha, Jide Adams and Omolara Vaughn.

In the Lagos Central Committee are Kamal Bayewu, Cornelius Ojelabi, Suru Avoseh, Dotun Adegbola, Moshood Salvador and Sunday Kappo.

Balogun said: “All members of the Lagos State APC Chapter Caretaker Committee are to also serve in the committees in their areas of jurisdiction.”
