Former presidential candidate of the Young Progressives Party, YPP, Kingsley Moghalu has reacted to the ongoing debate on the relationship between COVID-19, 5G network and Antichrist.

DAILY POST recalls that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Believers Loveworld has been under attack for the past few days after he attributed the COVID-19 pandemic to the introduction of 5G and Antichrist.

Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, had criticized Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and other pastors who are attributing the COVID-19 pandemic to 5G and Antichrist.

He had expressed disappointment in pastors who are bringing up the conspiracy theories.

Speaking on the development, Moghalu urged Nigerians and pastors to be careful of conspiracy theories, including COVID-19 and 5G network.

Moghalu further advised Nigerians to understand the distinction between faith and foolishness in this difficult times.

On his Twitter page, he wrote: “We should be extremely cautious about all these conspiracy theories about Covid-19, including about 5G. Emergencies like this always breed such stories. They may sound attractive, but are not proven or necessarily true.

“It is established science that Covid-19 is a virus-disease!

“On religion and Covid-19: let’s understand, and apply, the distinctions between faith, presumption, and foolishness.”
