The Oyo state government has confirmed the death of a COVID-19 patient, bringing the number of coronavirus related deaths in the state to two.
Governor Seyi Makinde disclosed in a tweet that the COVID-19 patient died on Monday morning, April 27.
The governor said there are currently eight active cases in Oyo state.
