The National Chairman of Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Dan Nwanyanwu has emerged as the presidential candidate of the party.
This is even as the party changes its name from ZLP to Zenith Progressives Alliance (ZPA).
Earlier before his emergence, Nwanyanwu said that although the name of the party has been changed, the logo and slogan remain, which is “equity, justice and development.”
The party National Chairman spoke in Abuja during the party national convention/presidential primary.
Addressing the 185 delegates and members of the party national executive, Nwanyanwu cautioned the party members to ensure that they have Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
He said: “Ensure you have a voters card when you are coming to see me. If you are coming to see me, come with PVC. If you are holding a meeting without PVC, it is of no importance.”
