Dare Adeboye: What to know about ‘Pastor D’

The demise of Pastor Dare Adeboye, son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Enoch Adeboye, has taken many by surprise. Dare was 42.

He was said to have died in his sleep on Tuesday in Eket, Akwa-Ibom, where he was pastoring a church.

Dare is commonly referred to as “Pastor D”.

His father, Enoch Adeboye once described him as a miracle child who did put the devil to shame 42 years ago.

Dare’s siblings are Adeolu Adeboye, Bolu Adubi (née Adeboye) and Leke Adeboye.

He was one of the most influential youth pastors in RCCG.

His ministerial sojourn also covered Abuja — North Central Youth Evangelist covering all the youths, RCF, RCCF & PSF in the states of Niger, Benue, Kwara, Kogi, Nasarawa, Plateau and FCT.

Many youths described him as one who dedicated his life to educating and inspiring young people on how to capitalise their faith in the various environments they find themselves in.

His marriage to Temiloluwa is blessed with three children.
