Debtor! GLO Owes MTN 5-yr N10b Interconnection Fee, Connection Breaks Down Between Subscribers Of Two Lines

Subscribers of two telecommunication giants: MTN and GLO are in for a hard time as connectivity between the two lines have broken down, no thanks to a whopping N10 billion the Mike Adenuga led GLO is owing MTN.

Thegazellenews.com’s investigation revealed that mobile service providers pay interconnection fee to one another on each call made.

Thegazellenews.com learnt that for the past five years, GLO has refused to pay MTN with the debt accumulating to a whopping N10 billion.

This medium learnt further that all entreaties to GLO to pay the money fell on deaf ears. Thegazellenews learnt that this might have been responsible for the break in connection between the two lines on Thursday.

While sources within MTN revealed that an official statement on the matter would soon be issued, those in GLO sound uninterested claiming they do not even know that there is a disconnection between the two lines.
