Deji Adenyanju Subverted Aims Of ‘Our Mumu Don Do’, Founder Claims
This is as the co-convener of the movement, Com Deji Adeyanju, purportedly resigned from the movement, citing compromises, the original initiator and founder of the movement, Com Retson Tedheke has claimed
In a press statement, Com Tedheke said, he has been expecting the current crisis of confidence rocking the movement to happen, explaining that, since Mr Adenyaju joined the movement as a co-convener, he has sought to influence its aims of to serve inordinate purpose, especially, the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
According to Tedheke, who is also a co-convener of Occupy NASS 1&2, Adeyanju has been the obvious mull in the movement because of his clandestine and open fraternity with the PDP rather than being with the people in whose interest the movement was formed.
He said the rise of Adeyanju in the movement was as result of Charles Oputa (Charly Boy’s) lack of commitment and seeming compromise along the line.
“After my decision to move on to ‘Occuppy Farm,’ Charles Oputa (Charly Boy) himself started deviating.
“He did not show clear commitment, as a result, Deji Adenyaju hijacked the movement and turned it into an avenue to propagate the Parochial interest of politicians, instead of fightting for the interest of the people for which the movement was formed, Tedheke said.
Tedheke explained that the Our Mumu Done Do ideology was mooted out of patriotic and nationalistic zeal, in 2016 during the Occupy NASS. He explained further that the group’s Occupy Nass protest in 2016 was out of genuine agitation against the status quo, and not, out of political considerations, as Adeyanju had tried to lead the group, which was obviously manifested in some of the protest he led.
In one of his tweets on Wednesday, Comrade Tedheke said, “MY VISION in STARTING Our Mumu Don Do was betrayed immediately Deji Adeyanju became a co-Convener.
DEM NO FIT DIE THERE!
Adeyanju had claimed he resigned from the group because he was no longer confident in the leadership of the organisation and accused Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy of betraying the aims of the movement.
I have resigned my membership of Our Mumu Don, Adeyanju tweeted on Wednesday morning.
I no longer have confidence in the leader of the movement, Charly Boy. He betrayed the cause while I was away in prison and compromised with the oppressors.
