A drug kingpin known as Alloysius Ikegwuonu aka Bishop who escaped being killed at the St. Philips Catholic Church, Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State gunmen attack has been reportedly killed in South Africa, www.e-nigeriang.com reports.

This unfortunate incident which occurred on August 6, 2017 at St Philip’s Catholic Church, Ozubulu resulted into the killing of 13 persons on the spot and many others badly injured.

An Anambra State High Court handling the case of the killings was told that those behind the mayhem had issued death threats to Bishop who lives in South Africa and his other brothers who live in Brazil.

Mr. Chukwuemeka Obi from South Africa said that the suspected killers had threatened to kill his father in Ozubulu, attack other family members in Ozubulu; kill his younger brother living in Brazil and himself living in South Africa.

According to him, “They are demanding one million dollars from us or they will wipe out all of us. We have also been receiving strange phone calls from the same people as well”.

Sources revealed to www.e-nigeriang.com that the Ozubulu attack was aimed at silencing a drug-lord named, Aloysius Ikegwuonu a.k.a Bishop and his family…

Bishop allegedly got involved in dirty drug business and made millions of naira and along the line betrayed his business partners….

However, more details emerging on the news, from what e-NIGERIA! gathered is that Alloysius Ikegwuonu a.k.a Bishop has been shot dead at his base in South Africa.

According to sources, Alloysius, aka Bishop often travels to Europe and Thailand to cool off, for fear being captured by assailants who had been on his trail for years. They were said to have eventually caught up with him and killed him upon his return to South Africa few weeks ago. (E-Nigeria)
