Ex-convict rearrested for stealing motorcycle, six days after release from prison
The Delta State Police Command has rearrested an ex-convict for allegedly stealing a motorcycle, barely six days after he completed a two-year jail sentence for committing the same crime.
Confirming the arrest on Tuesday via his X handle, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, said the suspect had only just been released from the Ogwashi-Ukwu Custodial Centre when he returned to the streets and stole another motorcycle.
Edafe wrote, “The suspect an Ex-convict, who just finished serving his two-year jail term six days ago at Ogwashi-Ukwu correction centre for the offence of stealing a motorcycle, went back to steal another motorcycle just after six days.”
