In a heart-wrenching turn of events, a yet-to-be-identified man has killed his son for allegedly eating the remaining cooked food in the kitchen.
This was captured in a video that went viral on social media on Tuesday, with the man’s hands and legs tied.
The man was placed face up on the dead body of his son, who was lying face down with blood around his head area,
According to a viral video shared online on Tuesday, the suspect was said to have fired his son with a gun after learning that he ate the last cooked food remaining in their house.
According to information available to The Eagle Online, the incident happened in Umunneochi Local Government Area of Abia State.
Though the full details of the incident are still sketchy, The Eagle Online learnt that the suspect was apprehended and tied up by the villagers.
The Abia State Police Command was yet to issue an official statement on the issue.
The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Maureen Chinaka, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, could not be reached as at press time.
