A new twist to the Mercy Aigbe marriage drama was unfolding at the weekend after Funsho Asiwaju, the first wife of her current husband, Kazim “Adekaz” Adeoti, slammed her for stealing him from her after she brought her close as a friend.

GreenWhiteGreen GWG reports that Mercy Aigbe had in the past claimed that she and her former husband, Lanre Gentry were never friends with Kazim and his wife, Funsho.

However, the first wife in a response to the recent interview by Mercy Aigbe and Kazim Adeoti rebuffed the claim saying in an Instagram post late on Friday that she brought the actress closer to her home as a friend but that she turned around to become a constant problem in her marriage.

According to the first wife, Funsho, Mercy Aigbe started sleeping with her husband when the actress’ son was just five months old.

Debunking the claim that she had accepted Mercy Aigbe as a second wife, she vowed that she would never accept a second wife in her home saying she would rather leave the marriage.

Mercy Aigbe had rocked social media with her claim of being D Owned and Kazim D Owner, saying that Kazim Adeoti as a Muslim was entitled to a second wife a role she was satisfied to play.

Funsho Asiwaju Adeoti in her reaction said that she and Mercy were friends but the “shame” will not let Mercy admit it and that she was the one who introduced Mercy Aigbe to her husband Adekaz before Mercy took her husband from her.

“I introduced you to Kazim as my friend,” Funsho wrote.

“You were a constant friend of mine back then. I brought you close as a friend because I liked you, but you repaid me by sleeping with my husband Kazim. “

“You were a problem in my marriage for years,” Funsho told Mercy Aigbe in her reaction.

“Contrary to what Mr Adeoti said, I did not and will never settle to have a second wife in my marriage to him,” Funsho wrote.

“I’m done. He’s all yours. Enjoy,” Funsho told Mercy.
