I can still play for Nigeria – Tammy Abraham

Chelsea forward, Tammy Abraham, says he has not closed the door on playing for the Super Eagles.

The forward, who has two caps for the Three Lions in friendly games, was quoted by aclsports.com as saying he had not ruled out the possibility of switching allegiance.

“Anything is still possible. I have not ruled it out completely, but we will see,” he told aclsports.com.

If he eventually turns up for the Eagles, he will join the likes of Victor Moses and Sola Ameobi as players who dumped the Three Lions for the Eagles.

Moses played for the England U-16, U-17, U-19 and U-21 teams before playing for the Eagles in 2012.

Ameobi was also part of the Eagles squad to the 2014 World Cup, after earlier making his debut in a friendly game against Venezuela, November 14, 2012.

He also featured for the England U-21 team.
