American television host, Ellen DeGeneres has finally opened up on her decision to relocate to the United Kingdom from the United States.
Ellen said this during a live conversation Richard Bacon at the Everyman Theatre in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
She revealed that she and her wife decided to turn their visit to the UK to a relocation after Donald Trump won the presidential election in 2024.
“We arrived the day before the election. I woke up to crying emojis from friends and I knew he won”, She stated.
Ellen also spoke about her concerns with the LGBTQ+ rights in the US. She noted that efforts are being made to reverse same-sex marriages.
