Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, who currently represents Ondo South Senatorial District  in the upper chamber of the National Assembly, has said that he won’t offer advice to his party— the All Progressives Congress.

The lawyer, businessman and politician recently lost out in the party’s governorship primary election, and was subsequently suspended from the Igbotako Ward II, Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state, over alleged anti-party activities and insubordination.

The party frowned at the fact that Ibrahim filed a suit at the Federal High Court in Abuja to nullify the April 20 governorship primary election, which declared incumbent Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the winner.

While appearing as a guest on Channels Television discussing ‘Tinubu’s Presidency: Huge Debt Burden and Way Forward’, he was asked, “You are a member of the APC, shouldn’t you be offering some of this knowledge that you have to your party?”

He retorted, “Did APC pay my school fees? Did they come to meet me in Cambridge when I was suffering, riding a bicycle, booking private jets, falling three times on a bicycle, and crying at night?”

The presenter further asked, “Why are you a party member? What was the essence of you going into politics?”

Ibrahim responded, “It doesn’t matter. I will give my knowledge (information). But, you can’t force me to share my knowledge. You have to be appreciative. You need to come to me and ask, and give me respect, then I will share the knowledge. If you don’t want to do that, even if you are my son, I will not give you. It (knowledge) is not easy to come by.” (Punch)
