An undergraduate student of The Polytechnic Ibadan has been found dead in his hostel.
The student, simply identified as Oromidayo, was said to have been naked and lifeless in his hostel room.
A female colleague, purported to be his girlfriend, is also said to be in a coma, with doctors battling to revive her.
According to PUNCH, some students familiar with the matter claimed that the duo was found naked, with Oromidayo’s girlfriend lying on top of him in his hostel.
Other sources, who spoke anonymously, were contrarily quoted as saying they were unclad in the bathroom.
Another student claimed that the two were engaged in “intense sex” when Oromidayo died and his lover fainted.
“Both of them were found naked in the room. The girl was on top of Oromidayo and his hands were around her waist. Both of them were unconscious as blood was seen around Oromidayo’s head,” one student was quoted to have said.
“Some other persons said Oromidayo died because he used a sex enhancement drug before sleeping with the girl.
“It is only an autopsy that can reveal the cause of death or maybe when the girl that is in a coma in the UCH, Ibadan, regains consciousness.”
