Popular Nigerian disc jockey and philanthropist, Florence Otedola, widely known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about her regrets over excessive materialism, particularly her past obsession with luxury footwear.
Taking to social media, the billionaire heiress shared a video displaying her extensive designer shoe collection in London, admitting that she still has more pairs stashed away in Lagos and Dubai.
“This is just my London collection,” Cuppy revealed. “I still have more shoes in Lagos and Dubai… it’s crazy. But guess what? All this doesn’t matter in Heaven, and you can’t carry them to your grave.”
Cuppy, known for her vibrant personality and charitable initiatives, reflected on how her perspective has shifted with time, stating, “I’m not materialistic like I used to be. The amount of shoes or material things you have doesn’t make you a better person.”
