The Police Service Commission (PSC) has directed four deputy inspectors-general of police to proceed on compulsory retirement.

The affected DIGs are Dan-Mallam Mohammed, Moses Ambakina Jitiboh, Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa and Adeleke Adeyinka Bode.

The PSC said the senior officers, who were initially seniors in rank to Kayode Egbetokun, acting IGP, failed to retire after the appointment of Egbetokun. (The Cable)
