Kidnappers place N30m ransom on abducted Ebonyi govt official
Kidnappers have demanded N30 million ransom for the abducted aide to Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, Mrs Blessing Adagba.
Adagba is the coordinator of Ngbo Central Development Centre in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.
Her abduction was confirmed by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu, on Friday.
Ukandu said the governor’s aide was abducted in the early hours of Thursday and N30 million ransom was demanded on Friday.
He said men of the police force were already on the matter.
He said, “The Anti-Kidnapping Squad has already moved for the rescue of the victim, Adagba. I believe they are working hard to secure her immediate release.
“Yes, Adagba was abducted at Okposhi Eheku community in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state.”
