Lagos Assembly: Return to your basic duties or resign – Fouad Oki tells Obasa

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Fouad Oki has urged the impeached speaker of the Lagos House of Assembly Mudashiru Obasa to continue his normal legislative duties. 

Obasa was removed last Monday but the lawmaker claims he is still the speaker of the Lagos Assembly.

However, Fouad has advised the Agege lawmaker to forget about returning to the speakership position. He asked him to instead focus on his duties in the House just like other lawmakers.

The APC chieftain was a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday.
