Newsnowonline assertion that deputy governor of Lagos state, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat was economical with the truth when he contradicted the LABSCA General Manager, Gbolahan Oki that 21-storey was approved has been revealed.
A document from the Ministry of Physical Planning signed in 2019 indicated that 15 floor was approved according to LABSCA GM.
Hamzat has told reporters at the scene of the mishap yesterday that truly the 21-storey was approved. This has also lent credence that Oki is being used as a ‘fall guy’ by the action of Lagos state Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, suspending him indefinitely.
