Lagos State APC Youth Leader, Comrade Tayo Sanyaolu on Thursday expressed sadness over the the loss Loss of lives and properties recorded after a tanker conveying petrol went up in flames on the Otedola Bridge, along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Thursday evening.
The APC Lagos state Youth leader in a condolence message described the inferno as a great loss to Lagos State and the country in general.
In his words “we extend our solace and commiseration to the families of persons who lost their lives as well as properties to the terrible incident as our thoughts and prayers are with them in this trying time and pain and grief, he added.
However, we must commend the responsive and proactive action by the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode for the prompt action during and after the ugly incident.
We urge Lagosians to remain calm”.
And also prayed that the repose of the departed continue to rest in peace.
