Libya Police Arrest Nigerian Migrant For Stabbing Fellow National To Death During Altercation
A Nigerian migrant has been arrested in Qarabolli city in Libya for allegedly murdering a compatriot in a violent altercation on Thursday, September 12.
According to Migrant Rescue Watch, the suspect, identified only as M.A.S., reportedly stabbed the victim, A.D.A., in the chest with a knife following a dispute.
The attack proved fatal, and the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
In a statement released on Thursday via X, Migrant Rescue Watch confirmed that the Qarabolli police apprehended M.A.S. after receiving reports of the incident.
The accused is currently in custody and is expected to be referred to the Public Prosecutor for further legal proceedings.
